Communicating – How to Convince Your Audience

Bling doesn’t wash.

Bling does a good job of convincing people to invest in products and systems that promise to make us rich overnight – or thereabouts.

I do not wish to patronize but or insult you intelligence, but you know as well as I do that the claims these people make are simply not water tight. I would go as far as to say that they are absolute untruths.

To convince your audience to invest in you, from the point a t which they opt-in to your list, through to the point at which they invest in your first product and beyond, you will need to convince them that you are the go to expert that they should be investing in.

This my friend is all about, and only about… trust.

Trust… is one word but with huge potential – both ways.

And you need to begin to attract trust right from the outset, where people are seeing your content for the first time through articles, videos, blog comment, website comments, guest blogging and so on.

So don’t try to “wing-it” by padding out you r content with fluff. Educate yourself in your niche to the point at which you are confident and comfortable about passing on what you have learned and now know, to others; you need knowledge to be able to answer their questions.

You don’t need to know everything about everything in your niche (that would be impossible anyway as new topics are discovered all the time; even evergreen topics evolve), but you need to know enough to be able to help those with less knowledge than yourself.

The people in your niche ask questions on website, in forums, social media, blogs and so on. The reason why they ask questions is because they want to know the answer and don’t know where to look; if they did know they would not be asking questions – right?

Being held in popular opinion as an expert who strives to help others to become experts too, is one thing for sure that will be a big positive point in your efforts to attain your objectives.

It stands to reason that the more people you can help (by giving more information) at the base level, that word will get round and you sooner or later will not need to market yourself hard and those who populate in online information business will seek you out as your name gathers that positive momentum.
